This policy will set the rules for using Procession OS and is incorporated into the Master Subscription Agreement by reference. Replace with the real scope statement.

1. Purpose

State the purpose: protecting the platform, other customers, and the families whose data flows through it.

2. Prohibited Uses

List prohibited uses: unauthorized access attempts, reverse engineering, reselling access, using the platform for a case outside a licensed funeral director’s actual authority, and automated scraping.

3. Prohibited Content

List content restrictions: unlawful content, content violating a decedent or family member’s rights, and misuse of AI-assisted drafting features (e.g. generating content unrelated to the case at hand).

4. Security Obligations

State customer obligations: credential hygiene, prompt reporting of suspected compromise, and not circumventing access controls.

5. Compliance with Law

State that use must comply with applicable law, including state funeral/cemetery licensing law, disposition-authority statutes, and data protection law.

6. Reporting Violations

Provide a channel for reporting suspected violations.

7. Enforcement

Describe consequences of a violation: warning, suspension, termination, and cross-reference the MSA’s termination-for-cause provision.

8. Changes to This Policy

Describe how changes to this policy are communicated to existing customers.
