End-User Terms
These terms will govern use of the family portal by a family member invited by a funeral home — the “About,” “Photos & Documents,” and “Authorizations” sections a family member reaches through a link the funeral home sends them. Replace with the real scope statement, including how these relate to the funeral home’s own agreement with Procession OS.
1. Who This Applies To
State that these terms apply to family members and other individuals a funeral home invites into the portal, distinct from the funeral home’s own staff (governed by the Master Subscription Agreement).
2. Electronic Signatures & Records
Cross-reference the ESIGN/UETA consent disclosure shown before signing (right to paper copies, withdrawal procedure, hardware/software requirements) rather than restating it here — link to where that disclosure is presented in-product.
3. Your Information
Describe what information is collected through the portal (uploads, form responses, authorization signatures) and link to the Privacy Policy for how it’s handled.
4. Acceptable Use of the Portal
State expectations for portal use: accurate information, not sharing the invitation link with unauthorized people, and not uploading unlawful content.
5. Relationship to the Funeral Home
Clarify that Procession OS is a software platform provider, not the funeral home itself — the funeral home is responsible for the arrangements, advice, and services provided to the family. State there is no attorney-client or funeral-director relationship between the family member and Procession OS.
6. Limitation of Liability
Set a liability limitation appropriate for an end-user (not the paying customer), consistent with applicable consumer-protection law.
7. Changes to These Terms
Describe how changes are communicated, and that continued use of the portal after a change constitutes acceptance (if that’s the intended mechanism).

Provide a contact method — likely the funeral home first, with a Procession OS contact for platform-specific issues.
